Well done to everyone who has logged on today. There has been some wonderful work handed in.

Well done to 3L who have completed 3000 quizzes in Read Theory and earned 43731 Knowledge Points. Wow! I’m sending you all a high five! Great job!

Tomorrow is VE Day so tonight is your last chance to brush up on your Lindyhop, hang up your bunting and make sure you have all the party supplies ready and organised.

I hope you all enjoy the sunshine this evening, stay safe and take care.

Good Morning

Good Morning Year 3!

I hope you had a good evening and enjoyed the sunshine! I hope it’s going to continue!

Make sure you log on to our Google Classroom and let me know how you are. Today we are going to carry on with our VE Day learning and also do a bit of practise on Read Theory and TTRockstars.

Don’t forget if you want to participate in the VE Day video let Miss Blackham know ([email protected]). If you don’t want to sing, send in any VE Day posters you have done so they can be included in the video.

Have a great day!

Almost VE Day anniversary!

Good morning.

The 75th anniversary of VE Day is now only tomorrow so today I would be making sure that I had done as much as I could in preparation. Maybe you could bake some of the food I suggested and complete making your bunting throughout today. You could even begin to hang your bunting up to make your house ready for you party or celebration.

There is another chance to practice the dancing and you could even practice the songs we suggested. If you learn any other songs, let me know what you have chosen and why.

Mrs Lewis will be looking after you in the classroom so please pop over and say hello.

Enjoy your day.

Baking

Well done to everyone who has participated in our online classroom today, I’ve seen some great work from Phoebe, Lauma, Nik, Shyaw, Troy and Cole. Did anybody have a go at the singalong? I’d love to hear from you if you did!

Ashton has been busy today making some scones for his VE Day party – they look delicious Ashton, well done!

Enjoy the rest your day Year 3, stay safe and take care!

Half way through the week.

Good morning!

Half way through the week already. Over in the classroom today we continue to give you activities that will help you with your preparations to hold your own VE Day parties. Today we have given you 2 songs that you can learn and sing at your party. There is also another chance to practice the tricky dance you began to learn yesterday.

Mrs Lewis will be over in the classroom as I continue to support pupils in school. As always, I will check in as and when I can.

Remember to keep working on your bunting so that it is ready to hang up by Friday. Please share any photos or videos of the learning you manage to do.

Have a fab day.

Morning

Morning 3P!

I hope you all enjoyed having the chance to begin learning about the importance of the 75th anniversary celebrations of VE Day on Friday. Today we continue this learning by showing you some food and drink you can have a go at making if you are planning on having a small party on Friday. There is even a dance you can begin to learn called the ‘Lindy Hop’. It might take most of the week to practice this so it will be available for the rest of the week.

If you do make anything, or practice the dance, please send photos and videos for us to share you efforts.

Mrs Lewis is looking after the classroom today as I am in school supporting pupils. Please check in and say hi. I will be popping in when I can.

Have a great day.
