Alex and Annabelle have blown me away this morning. They have worked so hard at editing and improving their writing. Their peer critique was so specific and they both said how helpful it had been towards improving their work. Well done to you both! £50 class cash each!

How lucky are we to have received such wonderful books for free! Each child selected the book they wanted to take home to keep. Along with the books, the children have a voucher to exchange for another free book and a bookmark at the library. They will also have brought home a form to fill out, to receive a library card. Please fill out the form ASAP and return to myself so we can get their cards sorted ASAP! Happy reading 6B!

6B have really enjoyed their literacy starter this morning. They were given an image to infer from. The discussions they had were really impressive and Mrs Ogle even care in and shared her ideas with us!
Keep up the hard work 6B!
6B always work so hard and I am so pleased with the progress they are making in literacy. They have been critiquing one another to improve their work and I have enjoyed reading their work so much! I can’t wait to see their final non-chronological reports!
Keep it up 6B!

Look at these two super stars who have produced even more fabulous home learning! Well done Ruby and Susie £50 Class cash each!
Just a polite request for parents, to encourage your children to access frog learning at least twice a week. I have set a variety of activities to help with consolidation of learning.
Thank you,
Miss Blackham
Well done to above children who all received a shout out in today’s crew assembly! The top photo shows the children who have earned the most coins on TT Rockstars. The following photo shows our super spellers followed by our top readers and then the children who have been voted by their peers for following the Plover pledge. The final photo shows the children who have improved the most in their arithmetic. Another shoutout to Lucas from 6B and Jack Y from 5K who are not photographed!
Well done everyone! Keep it up! Let’s see if we can have new faces up there next week!

Ruby, Susie and Alex have been working really hard in literacy this morning! They have been researching interesting facts about Polar bears and NatterJack Toads to include in their Non-chronological reports. These children demonstrated fantastic collaboration and I am very proud! Well done you three!
Years 5&6 had so much fun this afternoon! They participated in a quiz on their learning so far. Then, they worked with their friends to make a planter out of a plastic bottle to make a pretty area outside on our playground. Finally, the children created posters to encourage others to save our planet.
The children worked so hard and there were lots of happy, smiling children!
Well done 5/6! Thank you to all parents/cadets who came today, we hope you enjoyed it as much as the children!
Charlie has blown me away with another awesome piece of homework. The attention to detail is fantastic and I love how proud he was of his work (so he should be!) Well done Charlie! £50 Class cash for you!

I love it when children share their home learning. It’s amazing to see the efforts put in and how proud the children are of their work! Well done to Alex, Kyri and Charlie for their amazing pieces today! £50 Class cash each!
