We have been working hard using manipulatives to understand how to add and subtract two 2-digit numbers from each other. We used lots of practice to make the numbers and to see the process of exchanging happening. We began to use more formal methods of organising our work. We have made great progress!

2P has continued learning about e-safety and also how bullying can be done through online platforms. We used a story to help us learn a song that we can use to help us to be safe online. We then created a personalised poster that we can take home and it will remind us what to do if we ever encounter a problem online.

Well done to our two beautiful pride of Plover this week! Myself and Mrs Melady have seen a huge improvement, in both Avez and Dila’s confidence recently and this is reflecting in the amazing learning they are producing. Avez and Dila are an absolute pleasure to have in our nursery crew, always working hard and being kind to others. You are both making fantastic progress and are making us extremely proud – keep it up!

Today 4H have been considering why people leave their homes and migrate elsewhere. We have also been thinking about why people move to a certain area. We have learnt the terms ‘push factor’ and ‘pull factor’ and cannot believe how the population of our city has grown since 2002! There are approximately 64,000 more people living in our city now than there was back in 2002!

Plover community, family and friends – we are asking for Disco Themed 70s/80s kids clothes and accessory donations like seen below: for some of our children to wear in next weeks dance show on Thursday 4th December.

Hi all just a reminder that these children are representing Plover at the EFL Football Cup on Friday 28th November 9.30am-3pm at the Eco Power Stadium, Stadium Way, DN4 5JW.

We will give the children their football kit and a Plover waterproof coat on Thursday 27th November. Please can the children come dressed in their Plover football kits on Friday. Wearing shin pads, moulded football boots and their red Plover waterproof coats.
Children are to bring a packed lunch to this competition.
Mrs Jobber and Coach Calum will meet and greet the children at 9.30am outside the Eco Power Stadium, Club Doncaster entrance. Parents/carers are able to stay and watch throughout the whole day. Parents are to then pick up children at 3pm.
Mr Meade will be at XP on a staff training day and will be checking in on the Plover football team throughout the day. #LovePlover
