Our contribution to better world day- please support our Plover pantry!

As part of better world day on Friday 5th May we are asking everybody who is able to, to donate to the Plover pantry. The Plover pantry was designed to support our community during the cost of living crisis and to be a safe space for our Plover community to come together for a cup of tea/coffee and a chat. We are so proud of the Plover pantry and we want to be able to support as many people as we can. We are kindly asking for any donation to spread the kindness on better world day. Please can any donations be given to your child’s class teacher and these donations will be passed on to Mrs Blackham.

Thank you for your continued support and please feel free to pop in to the Plover pantry every Thursday between 9am and 10:30am- everyone is welcome!

Y6 SATs breakfast Tues-Fri 8:15am

We would like to invite all Year 6’s to a SATs booster breakfast to allow them to sit with their friends and enjoy their breakfast as a whole crew before SATs. We have ordered a range of cereals and we will have toast and juice on offer too. Please encourage your children to attend. There will be no costs for children!

Celebrating the King’s coronation!

We will be celebrating the King’s coronation on the 4th May! Children will get to join their crews on the school field and have a picnic lunch. You can either order your child a school lunch (menu provided below) or they can bring a packed lunch.

Children are encouraged to come to school dressed in either red, white or blue or they can come dressed as a king or queen!

We will be holding a decorate a crown competition so children are welcome to bring their crown in on the day. Prizes will be awarded per year group for the most creative crown!

We would also love all children to create a drawing or painting of King Charles to add to our whole school display! We will also award prizes for the most creative pictures too!
