Wet the teacher! We raised £205!

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in ‘wet the teacher’. Thank you to all of our parents and carers for paying to wet the staff members and of course to everyone who volunteers to have sponges thrown at them! I have never heard so much giggling and excitement as I did yesterday dinner time! They definitely took advantage of being able to soak the staff! We managed to raise an amazing £205 which will go towards our leavers funds!

Thank you again, we appreciate the support so much!

Beautiful Work This Week

Ready, Steady, Grow!

In the spring of 2023, the KS1 pupils from primary schools across the XP Trust undertook a cross-curricular learning Expedition called ‘Ready Steady Grow’, where they looked to answer the guiding question…

‘How can I be the healthiest version of me?’

The Expedition culminated in this beautiful collaborative book – filled with recipes, healthy eating advice and the story behind the students’ learning!

‘What will I do to be a champion in my community?’ Pledges at Norton Infants!

Recycle to Read Initiative

We have recently signed up to the ‘Recycle to Read’ initiative. This helps the planet and helps our school turn your batteries, which no longer work, into books for school! We are looking for the following batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V) to be brought into school and placed in the collection point at the school office. Please ensure the contact points have been taped over and all batteries are brought in a plastic bag. If we fill our box and send it back, we have the chance to win £50 in book tokens for school. Each time you drop a battery off, your child can follow the link (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdhcVMztGotW4k4mKQRrB7Z5idx3QzFQOsdlA3rxvz2E7816Q/viewform) to be in with a chance to win their own prize! The competition is open until 14th July. Thank you for your support!
