Spelling is important!

Once again, Years 5 & 6 have been challenging themselves to become better spellers.  Please support your child with the learning of the words they have been bringing home.

Congratulations to this week’s strongest spellers who are:

Luca, Leland, Dominik and Aisha – perfect scores all round from these pupils.  Well done.

Researching interesting facts!

Ruby, Susie and Alex have been working really hard in literacy this morning! They have been researching interesting facts about Polar bears and NatterJack Toads to include in their Non-chronological reports. These children demonstrated fantastic collaboration and I am very proud! Well done you three!

Family learning

Years 5&6 had so much fun this afternoon! They participated in a quiz on their learning so far. Then, they worked with their friends to make a planter out of a plastic bottle to make a pretty area outside on our playground. Finally, the children created posters to encourage others to save our planet.
The children worked so hard and there were lots of happy, smiling children!
Well done 5/6! Thank you to all parents/cadets who came today, we hope you enjoyed it as much as the children!

Creative Charlie!

Charlie has blown me away with another awesome piece of homework. The attention to detail is fantastic and I love how proud he was of his work (so he should be!) Well done Charlie! £50 Class cash for you!

Family Learning is nearly here

One last final beg from the pupils of 6H to their parents:

Please can we have your plastic?  This could be in the form of milk, pop or water bottles – or even just the bottle caps themselves.

This weeks’ top spellers were:

Luca Nguyen, Cailey Nisar, Aisha Olaobaju and Grace Walsh.

Well done guys!

More awesome home learning!

I love it when children share their home learning. It’s amazing to see the efforts put in and how proud the children are of their work! Well done to Alex, Kyri and Charlie for their amazing pieces today! £50 Class cash each!

Playing Science

6H have had great fun preparing board games to help them learn about the life cycle of sea turtles.  Hopefully they will be finished tomorrow and then the real fun can begin.

Reminder:  We need your plastic waste!

Awesome coaching in maths!

A huge well done to 6B this morning! The children worked so hard in maths practising their short division skills! The children pushed their learning even further by identifying mistakes with answers I gave them and then applying this skill to problem solving activities.
