Ruby, Susie and Alex have been working really hard in literacy this morning! They have been researching interesting facts about Polar bears and NatterJack Toads to include in their Non-chronological reports. These children demonstrated fantastic collaboration and I am very proud! Well done you three!
Thanks to the parents who came and joined in with our family learning event. It was great to see you in class and we hope you enjoyed the activities you completed with your child.
Years 5&6 had so much fun this afternoon! They participated in a quiz on their learning so far. Then, they worked with their friends to make a planter out of a plastic bottle to make a pretty area outside on our playground. Finally, the children created posters to encourage others to save our planet.
The children worked so hard and there were lots of happy, smiling children!
Well done 5/6! Thank you to all parents/cadets who came today, we hope you enjoyed it as much as the children!
Year 5 went out and about yesterday! We all really enjoyed the science event. We made rockets and launched them, completed experiments and made comets! 
Charlie has blown me away with another awesome piece of homework. The attention to detail is fantastic and I love how proud he was of his work (so he should be!) Well done Charlie! £50 Class cash for you!

6H have had great fun preparing board games to help them learn about the life cycle of sea turtles. Hopefully they will be finished tomorrow and then the real fun can begin.

A huge well done to 6B this morning! The children worked so hard in maths practising their short division skills! The children pushed their learning even further by identifying mistakes with answers I gave them and then applying this skill to problem solving activities.
