We would love you to ask your children their classes question of the week! We know sometimes after a super busy day at school the children are sometimes too tired to tell you about everything they have done. So we hope this way will allow you to check in with your children and ask them specific questions linked to their learning to check their knowledge! Please see this week’s questions in the table above!

You are blowing me away Year 6 with your enthusiasm for our new expedition. Your efforts to immerse your learning environments are a fantastic example of being a crew! It’s fantastic to see so many smiling faces buzzing to learn about World War II. You are all little superstars! I’m so excited to reveal our classrooms on Friday once we have finished!
I’d like to give a shout out to those children who are consistently working online – well done I know it is easy to sit and ignore the work that is set but it is important we do not miss any learning!

Please don’t worry if you have missed bits – you can go back and complete them when you have time.
Some people seem to be running out of steam with the home learning – oh no! So, as bribery seems a great motivator to children, I will be rewarding the hardest workers with a prize! Come on 5K – we will soon be back in school where I can nag you face to face!!! See you soon.
Year 6 are well and truly hooked into our first Expedition of the year- WWII: what is Doncaster’s story?
The children are immersing their classrooms and they are all doing a fantastic job! Please check back later this week to see the big reveal of our new learning environments!
Thank you to those who are sharing their family/friend’s memories and experiences of WWII. We will be adding them to our ‘Plover war heroes’ display board and your stories may just be included in our final product at the end of this term! Please keep them coming in!
We are getting close to getting back in class 5K and when we return it will almost be the end of September! I hope you are still all well, keep learning online and I’ll see you soon.
Well done to those people who have been hard at work, it has been great to see you aren’t losing any more learning time. It won’t be long until we have our ‘normal’ back again – going to school, seeing our friends and working together.
I am excited about getting back as we will be completing some Hook Week activities so fingers crossed for some art and craft!
Wow! Year 6 have really impressed me today! We have been focusing on the book ‘Tuesday’ and today they had to write questions they had about the picture book. They blew me away with their questions and collaboration. Just look at their awesome work! Well done my lovelies! You really are superstars!
I am going to try and do a google hangout about the maths lesson – it will start at 11 and I will talk you through it!
Fingers crossed!
