As always, I hope you are all well.
I’m slightly disappointed at the moment as very few of you are checking in or accessing the online learning we have set for you. Please remember that even though you cannot be in school at the moment, learning is important and before you know it, you will be secondary school students.
Shout outs to Cailey and Kyren for making sure that they do check in on a daily basis every morning. Thank you, you two.

Good morning Year 5/6, if any of you are having trouble accessing learning online, please contact me on [email protected] or phone the school office and we will arrange some further work packs for your children!
All work which is added online is printed weekly for collection for your children to access along with other fun and purposeful activities. There are daily maths, literacy and expedition slides online as well as art work opportunities and coding activities.
From today, every child who submits a piece of work (this can be online, on paper, sending your teacher pictures of what you are up to as we appreciate there are lots of ways to learn at home and it doesn’t have to be pictures of your work set by us or by joining in class hangouts etc) will have their name put into a hat and we will draw three weekly winners for a special prize to be delivered to you!
A huge well done to all of you who are submitting work and sharing pictures of what you are up to, we miss you all very much and can’t wait to see you again! Keep shining and we will see you soon!

Don’t forget that today is quiz day – Miss Blackham will email you an invite if you ask her to. I hope you have fun with it and get the chance to see some of your friends for a while – I know I am missing my friends (yes I do have some) so you must be missing yours too!

There has had to be a change to this week’s quiz. It will now be at 10am tomorrow instead of today. If you would like to take part, please email Miss Blackham and she will send an invite out to you.
As usual, we will have our class hangout at 10am on Thursday. It would be lovely to see a few more of you this week because there’s only so much gossiping that Cailey and I can do.
