Year 5, I am very proud of you. It’s fantastic to see so many of you completing your work. My emails were buzzing all day as so many of you were submitting your work so a huge well done from me! Please check the blog this morning as your maths and literacy lessons will happen via hangout from today. We’ve had lots of fun today, making the different phases of the moon out of Oreos. The children were very disappointed that they weren’t able to eat them afterwards.

Yes I know you have unexpected freedom but please remember in class we have a literacy and a maths lesson. This means you have to complete………..yes! A literacy and maths lesson and not choose which ones to complete. I have a record of what you do and don’t complete and can always find time back in school for you to catch up ……………….

6B are loving our visual tracker of our targets! I am so impressed with our scores from last week and I am challenging 6B to increase their class average minutes on accelerated reader from 9 to 12 minutes. I know they can do it!

6B have been working so hard in maths this morning, I have seen our collaborative norms develop which has resulted in great progress today! Remember our lessons are on google classrooms incase you want to do some extra learning at home! Well done 6B- you make me very proud!
Just a reminder work is on google classroom and I do expect you to check in and complete some work. I am aware some of you won’t be up yet but please continue to work.
This is just to let you know that the children are expected to log into google classrooms and complete online learning. I have made sure the children know their school email address and their password BUT if there are any problems please ring school.
THE CHILDREN ARE AWARE THAT I CAN MONITOR WHO IS AND WHO ISN’T COMPLETING THEIR WORK!
It is important that do work as obviously they are missing out on teaching time.

6B & 6C had lots of fun joining in with the Roald Dahl online workshop this afternoon! It was great to collaborate online with other schools in Doncaster too! Well done lovelies!
Good morning and it’s a great start to another week as the sun is out. We are busy learning about the sun, moon and stars in the form of different stories. The children are enjoying recapping on different maths skills too.
