We are activists!

Years 3 and 4 became activists and walked around our local area spreading their message about the need for change before it is too late for the polar bears of the Arctic!

What do we want? CHANGE!

When do we want it? NOW!

Polar…BEAR!

Polar…BEAR!

We really appreciated the beeps from the cars and the bus that passed us, thank you!

You have placed a small piece of the jigsaw down, Year 3/4. Feel proud of yourselves and keep adding another piece by turning those lights off (or games consoles and TV screens most likely) when you head downstairs for tea. Together, we can all make a difference!

4H World Book Day Fun…

4H embraced World Book Day whole heartedly and we had so much fun throughout the day. The live draw along with Phil Shepherd inspired us to imagine our own characters and ideas for the front cover of a book. The finished products are so good I need to have a new wall built somewhere so that I can display all of them! Getting comfy with a cushion seemed to be a favourite part of the day as we read more of our key text: The Last Bear. There really is nothing better than sitting back, relaxing and reading or listening to a great story. I’m sure someone fell asleep…no names mentioned!

Don’t forget that your book token can be used for £1 off of a book from our book fair when it arrives!

LKS2 Family Learning Weds 13th March

The LKS2 family learning event is being held on Wednesday 13th March at 1:30-3pm. We are organising a peaceful protest around the local area to raise awareness of climate change and to save the polar bears. We would love it, if parent carers could  attend in support.

Please sign the permission form to provide consent for your child to take part in this event.

Should you have any questions regarding this letter, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher.

Thanks

Year 6 parent drop in-12th-15th March 3:15-3:45

All of our Year 6 parents are encouraged to drop in to see their child’s class teacher next week to discuss their assessment scores. If you cannot make these times, please email myself [email protected] to either arrange another time or for a phone call.
We will be able to share your child’s next steps so you can further support them at home on the run up to SATs.

Thank you so much for your continued support!
