Snowflake Factory!

It has been a busy afternoon here in 3T, where all the children have been making snowflakes! They have collaborated so well with one another and their perseverance is paying off. We hope to have them all hung up and twirling away by the end of the week.

A Plover Praise for Frazer!

Today in Maths Frazer said “Miss Lister I don’t need your help, I can do this.” Frazer challenged himself to complete his Maths work independently! Well done Frazer! Keep it up! #loveplover

Pride of Plover

Well done to Pebbles, this week’s Pride of Plover. Pebbles has kept calm this week and believed in her own ability. She has remembered to use the range of strategies in class to support her working out. She is also such a helpful and kind member of the class, doing jobs that need doing before I’ve even thought of them! Well done Pebbles, we are all proud of you.

Well done to Nikita for winning the yellow tshirt this week. You worked so hard during assessment week and I was very impressed.

Coming soon to a (home) cinema near you………

Lights, cameras, ACTION!

We have been working so hard to complete our final product for our expedition. Even assessment week could not halt rehearsals and filming.

We have a little more to do, but just to give you a taste of what is to come next week, here is the trailer to our film, ‘Rocking Romans’.

Keep your eye on the class blogs for the full film.

Lily-Grace has been really interested in our Roman topic and how they changed Doncaster. Whilst out driving as a family they drove over the River Don and Lily-Grace was talking about our learning in school. She explained to her family about how the Romans used the River Don and spoke about the Roman wall near St George’s church in town. On their way back home Lily-Grace stopped off in town and they went to find the remains of the Roman wall and found the information board with the fort on that we have looked at in class.

Amazing independent learning! #loveplover

Fantastic Focus!

Unfortunately, I haven’t got lots of lovely photos to share with this blog, as the main thing I would like to celebrate is how everyone has worked so hard this week during our assessments.

There have been some challenging questions and tricky problems to solve but the children have overwhelming worked incredibly hard and really tried their best.

I am very proud how they have stuck at the assessments and kept going even when it was a challenge.

Only one more day to go, so stick at it guys!

There was a lot of excitement in the classroom today as Elfie the elf has turned up to 4L to report back to Santa on their behaviour and how hard they are working.
