Key Stage One hit the shops

Absolutely wonderful learning today Key Stage One! I have loved seeing your shops! Thank you to Daniel, Angel and Johnny for their very inventive supermarkets. I have seen some very high demand items for sale as well as a beautiful pair of shoes! I loved Johnny’s idea of a Lego conveyor belt, Angel making her brother pay with a card because he spent so much and Daniel counting all his money!

Miss Lotysz is back tomorrow, please continue to check in online and show her photos of all your wonderful work. Keep safe Key Stage One.

Phonics sessions

With regards to the Phonics lessons announced below, I have assigned each child the correct time slot to watch on Google Classrooms. This link will go live at 9am on Monday and will tell you which video to access. If you do not use Google Classrooms to engage with learning at this time and would like to know your child’s phase to enable you to watch the correct video from Monday, please email me at [email protected] or ring the school office. I will then get in touch to advise you.

Phonics lessons for Key Stage One children

This morning, we have received the following letter. Please take the time to have a read of it.

Letter to parents & carers about online phonics lessons

Over the coming days, we will be in touch to let you know which ‘time slot’ will best suit where your child is working at. For some children, we may advise watching a time slot to help them revise and remember sounds they have learned before. We hope you agree that is an exciting resource for your children to use at home to help them continue their learning in phonics at this time.

Please also have a look at the following website

http://www.phonicsplaycomics.co.uk/comics.html

This allows your child to access a phonics decodable comic in place of their school reading book.
