End of the week

It’s the end of the week and what a busy one it has been!

Another day with wonderful work and children challenging themselves to do their best. Well done to you all!

I’ve seen great work from Cole, Amelia, Riley, Arwa, Dalton, Alesha and Nastazja and lots of you have again been earning Knowledge Points and improving your speed and accuracy on TTRockstars. Well done!

I hope the weather is good for us this weekend and you all have lots of fun.

I’ll see you on Monday for our final week in Y3 and Y4.

Take care!

Friday 10th July

Good Morning,

Today we are going to have our Google Meet call at 11am – we’re going to do something a little different – a scavenger hunt – so get ready to be a hunter!

I’d love to see you all so check out the code on the stream or on the blog later.

See you then,

Mrs Graves

Good morning!

Well Friday has arrived and there’s only more week to go.

Today we’ll be busy again in our online classrooms so head on over and make sure you let me know how you feel before making a start.

I have seen excellent perseverance, children challenging themselves on a daily basis and children who are motivated to learn even when they are not at school. I know it’s been unusual and hard to do your learning in such a new way but we are all very proud of each and every one of you. Keep it up, one more week to go!

Have a great Friday everyone!

Thursday’s shout outs

Another busy day! The weather has been so miserable but your work has certainly brought a smile to my face.

Special shout outs go today to Dahin, Mohamad, Nishal, Bethannie, Harper, Sumika and Darcie for continually doing their PE challenges. Well done for keeping active!

It’s great to hear so many have you have earned Knowledge Points on Read Theory and improved you speed and accuracy on TTRockstars. Well done to you all!

This Pride of Plover award is for you all, I’m looking forward to seeing what you do tomorrow.

Enjoy your afternoon everyone, take care!

Thursday 9th July

Good morning,

Hopefully the weather will pick up a bit later and you will get chance to get some outside time.

We are finishing off negative numbers today and also you have the chance to finish the acrostic poem using your name – I love how you have edited and improved your work, going back and expanding your sentences and ideas. I really feel that I got a great picture in my mind from some of the poems and feel that I get to know some of you better. I wonder if you could write them out on paper and decorate the poems so we can share with your year 5 teachers.

I will do a 4G Google Meet tomorrow at 11am so spread the word as this will be the last 4G meet – next week you will be invited to have a google meet with your Year 5 teachers – so keep an eye on the blog for dates and times.

Have a lovely day

Mrs Graves

Morning!

Good morning! It’s Thursday already, I can’t believe it. This term is really flying by.

There’s lots to do in our online classrooms today so make sure you head over and let me know how you are doing. We are continuing to find out about Tudor Explorers, practicing our times table skills and thinking about ways we can be kind to ourselves.

I hope you have a great day, stay safe!

Wednesday’s shout outs

Another great day! Well done to everyone who logged on today, I’ve seen some excellent work.

Shout outs today go to William, Corey, Agrima, Nastazja and Ksawery from Year 4 and Esther, James, Alfie and Troy from Year 3 for their wonderful acrostic poems! Well done to all of you, the Plover Posse Award is for you.

Enjoy your afternoon, I’m looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Wednesday 8th June

Good Morning,

Well done for continuing to log on and submit your work. Today you will be continuing writing your poetry – remember you can do more than one version and try it out in different ways – the best writers  are never happy with their first version.

We are carrying on learning about negative numbers – go back to the videos if you are unsure and recap.

There are some great horrible history episodes about the Tudor Explorers – have a look on iplayer and youtube to have a watch.

Have a nice day!
Keep safe

Mrs Graves
