E-Safety Winner.

Thank you to everyone for entering your posters for the e-safety competition. There have been some excellent, creative entries. It has been very hard to judge! We have decided to give a small prize for the best entry in each class because it has been so hard to choose.

The 2P winner is…

Scarlett! Well done Scarlett. We can see the time and effort you have put in to giving us all a really important message. There is a prize in class for you when we are next able to be together.

Pride of Plover

This has been an extremely difficult choice this week. There have been so many deserving people who have done so much brilliant learning. I am only allowed to choose one person though! This week, I have chosen Shayen. He has gone over and above with his learning every week so far and I have to reward his determination and effort. The highlight for this week has to be the video that I have included below.

If you did not win this week, do not be upset as I will have to pick another winner next week as well. It could be you! I am noticing all of the effort that pupils at home and at school have been putting in and it is amazing!

Well done again Shayen.

Plover praise postcards

Shout out to Jan who has worked hard in all lessons and accessed the live sessions at home. Jan has also been answering and speaking in full sentences. Keep it up buddy!

Well done to Rahand also who has learned from his mistake earlier in the week and been the kind, hardworking boy we know you are!

Good morning Key Stage 1!

You have all worked really hard this week so we are going to do our Fun Friday learning again today. There will be lessons as normal throughout the day but the expedition learning will allow you to be creative away from your screen again. We will round the week off with our Plover Praise time disco again at 2pm so please come and join us to celebrate all of your hard work this week and begin the weekend with a bit of fun!

Have a great day, keep sharing your learning with us and have even more fun this afternoon!

Creative learning.

Well done 2P for yet more hard, resilient work with your learning today. I had to blog to give a shout out to Scarlett for this amazing piece of drama from our English lesson this morning. I particularly love that she had made little puppets and used fire as a backdrop. Very clever! I also want to Shout out Ara for making superb puppets to help with his drama and also to Tim who used puppets to create his role play as well. Tim you win today’s virtual Plover Praise postcard – well done! Look at their fabulous work below:

Good evening everyone.

I just wanted to confirm that tomorrow afternoon at 2pm KS1 will be having a Plover Praise Disco – I know our children (and staff!) really enjoyed this last week.  We will be posting an invite through Google Classrooms.  It would be great to see as many children and parents as possible taking place.  It was lovely seeing your fabulous dance moves last week – yes parents this included you 🙂

We are not having party clothes this week, so please send children in school uniform.

We look forward to seeing you joining in the fun and games.

Fabulous Writing in 1/2C

I was super impressed with the English work from 3 of my year 1 children.  So they are all getting a well deserved  ‘shout out’.  They have worked really hard to improve their sentences. They made the their writing interesting by using great vocabulary, accurate punctuation and they even used conjunctions.  Look at the stunning results!

Stay Active and Work Hard

Children in school and at home have been keeping active and working hard today in Maths, English, Phonics and PE 🙂

Remember tomorrow afternoon at 2pm we have our Plover Praise Party and Disco! It would be amazing to end the week with every child in KS1 online for it! 🙂

Pride of Plover too in the morning for someone who is regularly accessing their learning and showing the Plover Pledge… make sure you check in at 9am to find out if it is you!
