Excellent Expedition Work

In our Expedition lessons we have been looking at properties of materials. I want to give a ‘Shout Out’ to Paul.  He completed a scavenger hunt and then provided information about each material he found.

I was really impressed with his poster, Paul provided a lot of information and experimented with inserting fonts and graphics.  You superstar.

Paul then managed to have fun playing in the snow.  What a great way to look at his chosen material in a different form!

Looking after Ourselves!

It’s been great to see you looking after yourselves and taking time to relax and enjoy playing or doing something fun.

Shout out to those that have really got into the spirit of chilling and having fun.

Paul enjoyed spending time with his brother.

Khongkwan relaxed playing with her fabulous dolls’ house.

Ellis went for a ride on his scooter and then enjoyed a treat of hot chocolate and a biscuit. My idea of a fabulous way to chill!

Wellbeing.

Good morning!

Well, we seem to have been buried in snow again today! If you do go out in it make sure you keep safe and wrap up warm.

This week we are focussing on our mental health and wellbeing and some of you have already started to send in pictures and ideas of activities that help you feel happier. Johnny loves crafting and making models. This is his great Dino! You have earned our virtual Plover Praise certificate for your effort today. Well done! Shayen has shown the calming power of enjoying a good book and Scarlett has shown how fresh air and exercise can make our body and mind feel healthier. Well done to all of you for taking part. There are more activities to have a go at today.

Have a great day!

Shout outs for 1/2C

It’s been another fabulous couple of days for learning in 1/2C.

I wanted to give a ‘Shout Out’ to Khongkwan for joining live lessons and completing her work through Google Classroom on a daily basis.  Khongkwan, likes a challenge and often completes additional work.

Another ‘Shout Out’ has to go to Darcy, even when he wasn’t feeling well he came onto Live lessons and completed all of his work. The resilience he has shown is amazing.  Like Khongkwan and many others in the class Darcy often completes additional work and challenges.

Super proud of my class and their fabulous attitude to learning.
