This week our children have been eagerly hooked when making chocolate shells and different flavour ice creams (mint choc chip🍪, lemon curd🍋, oreo🍩, strawberry 🍓 and chocolate🍫)
Today in the splendid Spring sunshine we got to eat them – deeelicious!👏🏽
Congratulations to Alina (1M), Max (1/2C) and Symon (2P) who are the Tellow T-shirt winners for showing the Plover Pledge this week!
Alina always tries her best, asks for support and is honest about her learning and is genuinely the most kindest child who always puts other children and people first☀️
Max’s attitude towards his learning this week has been marvellous… he’s constantly had a smile on his face, he’s been communicating and collaborating a lot more and is really starting to grow 🌟
Symon has had a brilliant week – taking ownership of his work, classroom and key stage learning environment, as well as producing some awesome learning!😁
Crew Attenborough focussed on Friendship today, we thought about what being a good friend looked like.
We discussed our ideas. We thought hard about the characteristics we wanted in our friends. We had to agree on which we thought were the most important. We decided it was important to: Be kind Share Help each other
Great fun was had by all today in KS1. Children took part in lots of different activities…
Ice cream making, which we can’t wait to taste! And some didn’t wait to taste,How sneaky were they! It looks like they enjoyed it. Don’t panic no utensils were used afterwards. We all kept very safe.We made Origami fish. This was really tricky, the children persevered and grappled with the task.Yummy chocolate shells…Look at our paper plate SeagullsWe created our own sand backing paper. You can also see the sea in the background. After a tiring day…We relaxed on Plover Beach
Another great day, I wonder what fun is in store for tomorrow!
HAPPY EASTER KS1, we hope you are all having a lovely half term and enjoy your Easter weekend!
Last week we had so much fun re-opening our tram trail and we had a extra special end to the term with a special furry, hopping friend – The EASTER BUNNY leaving his carrot snacks for us to complete an Easter Hunt!
In 1M last week, we were blown away by the EGGcellent standard of creativity and decorative eggs you all made… no yolk! Congratulations to our winners Harry, Ellie, Mitchell and Lena! Mr Meade #LovePlover
Whilst we were busy doing our learning, we became aware of a commotion outside. When we looked out of the window we couldn’t believe what we could see…
The Easter Bunny had dropped carrots all over the playground! Luckily the children whizzed straight outside and cleared up the mess. They were rewarded for finding all of the carrots and each one was magically transformed into a Creme Egg!
