Number bonds to 100

Thinking hats on in 1M maths this morning:
“ If I know 6 and 4 make 10… then I know 60 and 40 make 100.”

Collaborative fun, helping the children recognise the multiple of 10, make the number and then find the number bond to make 100 🧠👥

Guess the verbs!

Can you guess what verbs our children are acting out? I love watching them enjoying our role play sessions. They are really growing in confidence and it’s super to see them get into character.

Who can help us?

Year one had a great Crew session yesterday, they thought about who can help them in school. It was great to hear the children explaining that they feel all staff members are easy to talk to and they are all helpful – just as a school crew should be :). We then thought about who helps us in the local community, it was fabulous listening to their discussions.
