The class have been learning to tell the time to the nearest 5 minutes. They worked really well and supported each other. Super collaboration!
Hania has shown perseverance today improving her maths work. She has really grappled with division and commutativity. You superstar!
Max had a fabulous week last week, he was so engaged with his learning and tried super hard in Literacy. Great work Max, we are all so proud of you.
Check out how busy Hasty was over the weekend with this marvellous home learning. In Hasty’s words “the jellyfish are happy swimming in the clean oceans. The little fishes are swimming through the corals. This fish is dead because of the plastic”.
Awesome work and this shows how immersed Hasty is into our current expedition – How will what I do today, impact the world tomorrow? #LovePlover
Samuel has been working hard with his writing today. Aland has been getting smart with his maths. Neriya has been kind and made a beautiful painting in literacy labs. #LovePlover
Congratulations to Rufus who is this weeks yellow T-shirt winner! Rufus has settled into Plover superbly and was absolutely fantastic at last Fridays trip to the Deep, asking lots of questions. This week he has continued to work hard and included his marine knowledge into his writing. #LovePlover
Lot’s of important lessons learnt today in 2B! This morning we looked at food chains and identified the producer, consumer and predator. We learnt lots of new scientific vocabulary which we can use for our final write. Then, this afternoon we looked at using part whole models to work out division problems, making sure we were sharing out the whole equally between the groups.
See you all tomorrow for a fantastic Friday!

This morning the children learnt about food chains and why they happen! They enjoyed acting our and then covering/eating their prey. #LovePlover
Just a quick message to confirm that Y2 will have PE on Wednesday and Friday. I would recommend bringing kits to school on Monday and taking them home on Friday. Where possible we will still have PE lessons outdoors so please provide warm clothes and trainers.
Thank You
