In English today we used a āfishboneā to pull out features we want to include in our final write this week. We worked together to come up with some creative and ambitious ideas and then used it to begin our first draft! Tomorrow we will be critiquing. Well done 2B.

1N were artivists today and finished off their alive and dead jellyfish, the sculptures on our final product are looking beautiful! #LovePlover

We are artists!
Today we did an art gallery walk using the protocol ā silent conversationā. Our children observed the art and then wrote down what the saw and how the art made them feel. 1N you were awesome at the silent conversation. We then finished our learning looking at different techniques to use, ready for completing our final product. Crew to each of you as you all worked so hard!

Final product painting
Year 1 have made a start on their expedition final product this afternoon! Creating effect through different painting techniques we learnt yesterday. It is going to look epic! Watch this space #LovePlover
Deep Sea Divers!
Today we began to unpick a model write. We are going to be writing a narrative story for our final write – Miss Barker is super excited! To make us think about ambitious adjectives to describe the ocean, we listened carefully before opening our eyes and watching an āunderwater paradiseā. Then we worked collaboratively to come up with our own ideas about what we might see, feel and hear under our beautiful oceans! I spied some great team work, well done 2B!
