Happy Easter KS1 🥚🐰🐇🥕

HAPPY EASTER KS1, we hope you are all having a lovely half term and enjoy your Easter weekend!

Last week we had so much fun re-opening our tram trail and we had a extra special end to the term with a special furry, hopping friend – The EASTER BUNNY leaving his carrot snacks for us to complete an Easter Hunt!

Everyone was EGGstatic.

Stay safe, be kind, have fun!

Finding the Difference!

Y1 have been working hard to find the difference between two numbers. I was so proud to see them working collaboratively to help each other. You can see the concentration on their faces! The discussions and explanations they were sharing was just fabulous to hear.

Super Work

Pride of Plover

Congratulations to Poppy for getting the yellow T Shirt last week.

Poppy always tries her best, shows kindness and makes the right choices, she does this all of the time. An absolute super role model.

PE Kit reminder for Year 1

Monday and/or Tuesdays are PE days for year one:

PE Kit = t-shirt, jumper, waterproof, jogging bottoms, separate pair of trainers.

PE kit request | St Stephen's C of E Primary School

These will be outside where possible (rain or shine)… please can I remind you that ALL children must bring their PE kits to experience the full benefit of PE lessons, as well as saving their uniform/shoes getting wet and muddy!

Also, a polite reminder that ALL EARRINGS are not to be worn on these days for PE!

Thank you Year 1 Crew!

Taking time to Play

In KS1 we have been thinking about how busy we all are, we thought about the importance of balancing working hard with taking time to relax and have fun.

So after working hard, we had fun… lots of fun!

Roman imagined he was holding a jellyfish!

The children were fabulous, look how responsible they were afterwards. The playground was left spotless.

We are Crew!

In our Crew sessions today Y1 were thinking about responsibility. They showed me what being responsible in Crew would look like.

Violet and Payton thought how to take care of books and how to share and enjoy reading together.
Kodish and Lyra said it was really important to be responsible in our learning and work hard all the time.
Roman said it was important to listen to everyone and respectfully take turns when talking.

Super Crew sessions, lots of fabulous notices and praises about our classroom responsibilities.
