What does a chapati moon look like?

The children worked together today to look at one of the pictures in Chapati Moon . They thought about what it looked like and described the moon. These are the ideas that they had.

We will use these ideas as we read and write sentences this week.

What an amazing first day back after half term. The children have been so enthusiastic in their learning and have been very kind to each other too.

Shout outs go to Pheobe and Riley for working hard in maths and challenging themselves.

Corben has been very kind to his friends and has used excellent manners.

Well done to the three of you. We are very proud of you.

Postcard winners

Today we chose 2 people for our postcards who joined in with dancing really well.

Zara and Arez listened to the instructions really well and tried really hard to join in. Well done you too.

A shout out goes to all the children today for exceptional behaviour during both workshops. They all had stickers for working hard, being kind and showing the greatest respect for Nisha our visitor today. I was so proud of them. Well done F2P.

Today we had a special visitor come in to show us how to do some Indian dancing. We learnt lots of traditional Indian dance moves and was lucky enough to see some of their cultural clothes. We had so much fun!

Shoutout to Rachel who came to school in a beautiful Indian outfit to show us all too.

Indian dancing

Today we welcomed Nisha to school. She taught us Indian dancing. The children joined in and performed a routine.

We created small moves and large ones and some of them looked like animals.
