Thank you so much to Helen, a local artist who came to talk to EYFS today to show different painting techniques and how to create a seaside postcard. The children then created their own artwork.

Outdoor learning.
We hope that you will able to be outdoors while we have the lovely weather! Our outdoor learning is very important, for building social skills and extending vocabulary and resilience. It is amazing to see how our children can show how they can; Be Kind, Get Smart and Work Hard.
Seaside food ……..
We compared tasting the sorbet we made from raspberries and fresh orange juice, to the ice cream that we tasted on Tuesday. It was very sour.
We also tasted sweet potato chips, to compare them to normal chips. We could choose to add salt, vinegar or tomato ketchup!

Ice cream tasting.
This week we tasted ice-creams from the ice cream van. We had a wonderful time, pretending to be beside the seaside.

We completed some races today and had lots of fun outside. We pretended we had ice-creams using cones and balls.

Isla was chosen today for our Pride of Plover. She has worked so hard in reading and writing. She always contributes and she helps her friends with their learning.

We made a Ukranian flag using our T shirts.

An amazing day in F2P. Lots of stickers, crew coins and postcards have been given.
Evanas and Alec had postcards for using their maths knowledge to solve problems. Ruby-Ann had a postcard for being kind and welcoming. She is very helpful.
