Thank you KS1 for your support!

KS1 presented Year 6 with the most beautiful good luck poster on Friday! They also wrote some lovely words of encouragement which they read out to our Year 6’s. What a beautiful example of being kind in their HoWLs. Thank you KS1!

Just a reminder to our lovely Year 6’s. You are all amazing and we are so, so proud of you all!

SATs donā€™t measure sport and SATs donā€™t measure art,

SATs donā€™t measure music or the kindness in your heart.

SATs donā€™t see your beauty, SATs donā€™t know your worth,

SATs donā€™t see the reasons you were put upon this earth.

SATs donā€™t see your magic or how you make others smile.

SATs donā€™t time how quickly you can run a mile.

SATs donā€™t hear your laughter or see youā€™ve come this far,

SATs are just a tiny glimpse of who you truly are.

So sitting at your table, with a pencil and your test.

Remember SATs arenā€™t who you are,

remember youā€™re the best!

We are all so proud of each and everyone of you Year 6. Your commitment to learning this year has been amazing. You are going to smash your SATs next week! Enjoy your weekend and have lots of fun- you deserve it!

There were traitors among us in our reading revision session!

This afternoon, Year 6 were joined by a number of traitors. The traitors were challenged to purposely sabotage the reading session. The faithfuls had to use their knowledge to be confident about their decisions and challenge their team to make sure they scored the most points whilst the traitors deliberately tried to sway them so they scored the least!

They had so much fun, especially when the traitors were revealed! We had some very good traitors and lots of fun during revision!
