We are learning all about the Egyptians. 6R have been doing a lot of hands on learning this week. We have mummified a tomato, to understand the process of mummification. They have baked bread and learned about the Egyptian diet. We have learned about the pyramids, the pharaohs and how they used the river Nile.

We have been building background knowledge in 6B!
6B have been building background knowledge today as part of our new Expedition ‘How can a healthy lifestyle impact our body and mind?’. We dived into our history case study and started to research the Egyptians. The children then transferred their new found knowledge onto a double page spread! Keep checking our blog to see what we get up to as part of our new Expedition!

We will be continuing to fundraise towards London so please keep an eye out for further details in the next few weeks.
Well done Year 6’s. Let’s make this final half-term amazing!

Our student Ambassadors led a well-being afternoon last week!
Last week, as part of mental health well-being week, our student Ambassadors led a well-being session. They wanted to encourage their friends to spend time outdoors and exercise which is an amazing tool to support well-being. They organised a lovely event and I am so proud of them!
Thank you boys!
