6B have been continuing to work as artists today and drawing using perspective.They were inspired by the work of Stephen Wiltshire and his cityscape sketches. They were so excited to have a go at their own city scales this afternoon!

This morning, we have been joined by author and illustrator, Phil Sheppard, who has talked to us about his story writing and illustrating, as well as his research for his books all about Doncaster. We will be using Phil’s book as our model text for our first writing cycle, so we have enjoyed asking him lots of questions and learn from his expertise. We were even lucky enough to hear a little about Phil’s next project! Thank you, Phil #LovePlover

6B have had a fun filled day! This morning, we designed Christmas board games followed by a beautiful Christmas dinner thanks to Adele and her team! We then enjoyed party games this afternoon before finishing the day practising for carols around the tree! We are so excited for Christmas!
