KS2 girls football club- every Thursday 12:30-1:15

We would love to create a Plover girl’s football team. We will be holding training sessions every Thursday dinner for KS2 girls who would like to play. We would like to participate in half-termly matches therefore, it is really important anyone who signs up must be committed to train each week. This will start the first week back after half term. Any questions please pop me an email [email protected]

We are historians 🛡️🏛️

For todays expedition we have looked at different sources to find information about life in Roman Doncaster. We then compared differences and similarities between Roman Doncaster and modern Doncaster.

Celebrating this weeks LKS2 Pride of Plover Pupils

It was lovely community crew this week. We shared appreciations, apologies and made stands. Congratulations top scoring crew, Crew Pass, they won a ‘Crazy Hair Day’ for next Friday.

At the end of Community Crew, we shared why crew leaders had nominated children for Pride of Plover. It is great to hear examples of how our children are living the Plover Pledge every day by working hard, getting smart and being kind.

Well done George, Matijas, Nelly, Poppy, Minnie and Jarvis. Enjoy wearing your Yellow T-Shirt this week.

Presenting our posters🛡️🏛️🏺

4B have done a gallery walk to critique everyone’s posters they created yesterday about aspects of Roman life in Britain and today they have presented their posters to the class. Well done for being brave enough to share your interesting facts and to listening carefully to others to give smart critiques.

Year 4 hockey

Today, year 4 carried on with their hockey skills and defending in teams. They worked well together and communicated on passing and defending against the other team. They practiced to the best of their ability and the coaches are super proud of the achievement and progress they have been making. Well done year 4, I’m very proud of the courage and teamwork you have displayed!
