6B have earned £60 attendance money so far this year and so they year. I allowed them to spend a 1/3 of their total prize money so they had to research treats they could have to stick within their budget (we still have to squeeze some maths problem solving even in our treats!) They were all buzzing with their burger treats! Lets keep the fab attendance up!

Tuesday afternoon saw the Plover final of the Danum Read Aloud. It was a wonderful event, with our KS2 pupils being incredibly supportive of their very brave peers! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the speeches and Judge Ogle and Judge Barrass had a very difficult decision on their hands to decide the winner! After some deliberation, they chose Vedika as the winner, due to her passionate reading and great eye contact with her audience throughout her speech. We are so proud of all of our finalists and hope to repeat the event again next year! Good luck to Vedika, who now goes on to represent Plover in the final at the Danum Gallery, Library and Museum at the end of the month! #LovePlover
Today, as part of our English lesson, we spoke with Mrs Blackham about the Plover Pantry. Mrs Blackham was a wealth of information, telling us about the Plover Pantry, how it began, her inspiration for running it and how she hopes to continue to develop the pantry in the future. We can’t wait to use this in our letter writing. The children asked fantastic, thoughtful questions. Well done! #LovePlover
