We have been busy practising a range of artistic skills to produce portraits of the people we have written biographies about for our final product. We made sure that we made careful observations, sketched lightly and used the squares to help us form the correct shapes. Well done everyone!

Last week, the mischievous elf, Sergeant Twinkletoes, made an appearance. First of all he decorated the room, making it all Christmassy and festive but since then, chaos has been caused everyday. He has stolen the evacuees’ sweets and trashed our Christmas messages! How rude! Today he’s pretending to be good – reading a book – but we all know that the goodness will only last so long. I wonder what we will discover he has done tomorrow?
