All children in KS1 enjoyed being put through their paces this morning to complete a circuit of exercises! We learnt how important exercise is for our bodies, to improve our mental and physical health and to pump blood to the brain to help is learn more! We were hot, sweaty, panting, red faced and our heart rates were beating much faster! #LovePlover
Today we have been learning about the basic things we need to survive. The children enjoyed debating the things we need and the things we want.

The guys worked hard in their mini football matches afterschool today. #LovePlover
We have continued our exploration of the text ‘The Great Food Bank Heist’ where we have debugged words that we weren’t sure of the meaning of. We have then practised our retrieval and inference skills to further improve our understanding of the story.
This week in Y2 we have been learning about multiplication. We have been looking at repeated addition and thinking about equal groups and using ’lots of’ to help us understand how multiplication works.

We have had our first expert visitors who taught us about some musical instruments and how they work. We then learnt how we can use our body and voices as our own instruments to make music. What do you think?
Each week as part of our Reading Crew, the children are going to be learning to perform and recite poetry. We decided to start with a traditional funny poem.
