We were very fortunate today to have a visit from Mr Price . Mr Price is a paramedic. He helped us learn what we need to do to look after our bodies. We learnt new words and practiced bandaging.

Today we have been practising drawing ourselves. We looked carefully at our hair/eye/skin colours and ensured we drew specific body parts such as our bodys and hands.

Shoutout to Lacey and Macey that extended their own learning during provision today. The girls followed up their maths by drawing numberblocks, writing the numeral to match and discussing one more/fewer.

A special shoutout to Almina who supported a couple of her peers afterwards in putting their coats and shoes on. What a kind friend!

As part of our hook week Mrs Shaw brought baby George to visit us. We found out lots of things about babies and what they can and can’t do. We measured him and he was 26 blocks which was 1 more than our baby doll. We wonder if he will have grown when he comes to visit us next time!

This morning we have been measuring each other and looking at who is the tallest in our class. Once we found the tallest person, we then compared this to the smallest person in our class. At the end of the expedition we are going to measure ourselves again to see how much we have all grown.

Isabell, Almina and Sophia got our postcards today for extending their own learning during provision.
After planting our bulbs this morning Isabell and Almina decided to draw pictures of flowers and label them. Great work girls!
Sophia made her hamster and a running wheel for it during provision and was challenged to see if she could write a sentence about it. Sophia wrote two sentences independently about her hamster as well as drawing it, well done Sophia!
