Crew Pickering used our session to talk about how it makes us feel on the inside when we see something online that makes us feel scared, unhappy or worried. We discussed what a trusted adult was and gave examples of who our trusted adults would be. Being kind online was the only way we should be!

Today is Safer Internet Day, in school we are working with the children to remind them of how we stay safe online. Here is some information for parents and carers to look over as to how you can support your child online.

A huge shout out to all of the parents who were able to join us on Thursday at our UKS2 maths parent workshop! They had the opportunity to work through an arithmetic paper just like their children will be sitting in a few months time!
In our next session, we will be looking at how to add and subtract fractions in order to further support their children at home.
The challenge for those of you who could not make it has been added to Google classroom and is due next Thursday!

Big shoutout to Koby who has got our yellow T-shirt this week. Koby has produced some beautiful work around our current text, Goldilocks and The Three Bears, and has done a fantastic job at retelling the story. Koby has also been working extra hard during his speech therapy, remembering to speak slower to pronounce words more clear. Keep working hard Koby!

As an EYFS team we are really proud of everybody who took part in our sponsored sing a thon today! Hopefully we will have raised lots of money towards our expedition, to buy books for reading for pleasure within our school, kiddiewinks and DRI children’s ward. Thank you so much to everybody that has sponsored their child! Don’t forget you have until next Friday to fetch in your sponsor money.
