Goldilocks Dance

Today we used our head to think of actions and movements to tell the beginning of our Goldilocks story. We moved our bodies to carry out our ideas and we used our hearts to think about how Goldilocks was feeling in our story. We hope you enjoy the beginning of our dance story of Goldilocks.

Amazing home learning!

So proud of these superstars who went home last night and consolidated their maths learning! They are absolutely smashing it right now! They are the first children to receive 10 crew coins and they will be able to use these crew coins to spend at our school shop at the end of the term- how exciting!

So proud of this lovely lot for coming to boosters!

I am so proud of all these children who attended boosters again this morning. We had a fabulous pre-teach session where we looked at adding and subtracting decimals.

Please keep it up and keep attending- I can almost smell your prize of a McDonald’s breakfast! šŸ™‚

New EYFS outdoor area

As a team we have been looking at refurbishing the EYFS outdoor area. We have had a design created which looks amazing. We need to raise funds for this through grants and funding bids. If you know of an organisation or company that could support us with this please let us know. We need to raise Ā£62,000.

Many thanks

Flower Mediums

This afternoon we explored using different mediums to do some flower art work, as practice for our final product this week. We used colouring pencils, water colours, ready mix paint, felt tips. #LovePlover

Year 5 litter picking- tomorrow afternoon

Just a reminder that Year 5 children will be engaging in acts of service tomorrow in our community and they will be joining local council workers to litter pick around Intake. This it to promote the importance of looking after our community.

Children will need a coat. If you havenā€™t given your permission slip to your class teacher already, please ensure you do tomorrow.

Disneyland Paris 2025 parent drop in- Monday 24th February 3-4pm

I am offering a drop in session for parents to pop to see me if they have specific questions regarding the Disneyland Paris trip. A formal meeting will take place once the exact timings have been confirmed with the company for each day/activity. This will not be provided to us as a school until the summer. However, we do have a rough itinerary.

The trip will take place on Monday 10th November and children will return home on the evening of the 13th of November. The trip will include a full day in Disneyland Paris, a day in Paris and the two travel days will consist of team blinding activities at the centre such as rock climbing, the big swing etc.

Rooms and groups will be decided in the autumn as we appreciate it is still a while away and friendships change.

Please note you are welcome to email any questions you have or pop to see me in 6B. I just wanted to offer a date where parents could come face to face to ask anything they need.

Thank you for the support with this school trip.

Happy Half Term

Crew Meade shared the love today by cutting, sticking and writing their valentines cards in provision. They chose to give them for their grown ups, friends or even their pets.

Have a safe and lovely half term break Crew Meade and grown ups. Thanks for all your hard work this term.
