Science Fair Preparations

We really are getting excited for our Science Fair on Friday.

I have been so impressed with everyone has worked on their projects, working at home to prepare resources and collaborating so well in class, writing scripts and practising presentations.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow afternoon, to see how everyone brings their learning to life and hope our parents and carers will too.

We are enjoying a movie and snacks

Years 3 and 4 are enjoying an extended stay at school this evening to watch a movie to enrich the learning they have been doing this term. Their expedition title has been ā€˜The power of life: What makes us human?ā€ I hope they enjoy the movie and are able to make links between the different case studies we have been learning about.

We are getting better at measuring

Year 3 have been working really hard this week to get better at measuring in mm, cm and m. They have also been converting between the different units of measurement. Itā€™s been tricky, but we are getting there!

Comic Relief

Thank you so much for the generous donations towards the Comic Relief penny trail. The children had a great time creating the penny trail and learning about the importance of Comic Relief.

Year 2 Celebration of Learning

Thank you to all of the grown-ups who were able to join us to celebrate the fabulous work that our children have done this term. Year 2 presented their work for the expedition ‘Ready, Steady, Grow: How can I be the healthiest version of me,’ beautifully and gave really good demonstrations of how to keep healthy. There was a great buzz in the hall as the children set about answering the quiz questions to help them take their grown-ups through their learning journey in the books. Great work Year 2!
