Working hard

Lily, Elijah and Bailey have all worked hard today. Lily sat for register and circle. Elijah came to the carpet each session. He didn’t want to have his photo taken today. Both of them sat in assembly. Bailey wrote words for the first time on his own.

We are proud of all of them.

Re-hook Day

Returning to our learning after the half term break has been exciting. Here’s some pictures of the many different activities we all had great fun with on ‘Re-hook Day’.

A Day to remember! I wonder what we will discover from our egg eggsperiment?

Hook day

Welcome back 4F! We started this week off with a hook day to immerse the children into our new learning. The second half of case study 2 is all about teeth and the digestive system. We made digestive system aprons, body bonding, cotton bud skeletons and used disclosing tablets.

Who is in the book?

Today we received a present and card. We had to think who it was from. We opened the card and read what was inside. We came up with lots of suggestions. Could it be a princess who climbed a tower and chopped off her hair? Could it be a knight chopping a dragon as he climbed the stairs?

As we opened the present it was a book and we saw a beanstalk and guessed that it was Jack in the story.

Danum Read Aloud

KS2 children are invited to take part in the Danum Read Aloud! The children have the chance to take part in a school competition, where they will perform one of a series of speeches provided by their class teacher. There is a round for each KS2 year group (3, 4, 5 and 6) before a school final on 24th February. One lucky school winner will then be invited to perform their speech one more time at the Danum Read Aloud at Danum Gallery, Library and Museum on 30th March for the chance to win £50! Please see Miss Topliss (Year 6) with any questions. #LovePlover

Crew celebration

For improved attendance this term the children chose to have donuts and popcorn which they really enjoyed. Keep it up F2P as your attendance this term has been so much better.
