Congratulations to our last two yellow t-shirt winners!

Crew Farrow had the task of assembling the gazebo outside this morning. Well done team!

Thank you to all the children that brought money in to wet the teachers!
Today we have created our own rockets. We persevered with masking tape, glue and split pins to stick our rockets together and then painted them. We then used our imagination to decide where our rocket would fly too.
A special shoutout to Tommy, Almina and Sreelakshmi who worked extra hard on their rockets and made them unique .

We have enjoyed learning outside this afternoon and keeping cool by splashing our feet in the pool.

In provision this week we have been exploring stomp rockets. We have been testing how far we can make our rockets fly depending if we used a lot or a little bit of force.

We have started learning about the story “Whatever next!” and are practicing being storytellers. In provision the children have been acting out the story and have been making their own pictures to help them tell the story.

Today, in expedition, 3B were researching two rivers in the wider world using chromebooks. They worked well together in pairs to present their findings and compared similarities and differences between the rivers they chose.

Some of the boys today were creative with how they made numbers in different ways using different resources. Well done to John-Boy for saying all his doubles and the different ways he could make 10.

Thank you to Mrs Ibbertson for bringing her boat to school today so that the children could find out what it is like to sail on a boat.
It was a bit slippery and it rocked. The children pretended to sail it and wore life jackets to keep safe.
