F1 are having lots of fun learning about children in need today. Thank you so much to everybody that has donated via parent pay, and taken part by sending their child to school in pjs/pudsey clothing.

F1 have been storytellers today! We worked together to create a story map of Weāre going on a bear hunt, we then used our story map to verbally re tell the story.

Ralph and Hasty have been working hard at home as well as at school. Thank you for bringing in some beautiful home learning!
4F produced some beautiful artwork of the human nose. We used 2B pencils, cotton buds and pencil shavings to create our final piece.
Last week, KS2 enjoyed partying at the neon disco. You all looked amazing!
We have had a wonderful day. We started off the day by listening to the story “We’re going on a bear hunt.” The children designed caves for the bear.
We then went outside for an XP outdoor session. The children had hot chocolate and biscuits around the campfire. They had remembered how to keep safe. Mrs Robertson reshared the story.
The children came inside and made some amazing bear caves. We had them everywhere – under tables, on the carpet and on the tables. They were made of blankets, cups, boxes, paper, bricks and sticks.
In the afternoon, we used the outdoor area to recreate the story and pretend we were the people in the story.
What an amazing day.

A special big well done to the children who were awarded postcards as well, for amazing learning throughout the week: Freyah, Ocean, Otis, Mason and Minadi. Keep working hard, getting smart and being kind F1, I canāt wait to give lots more of awards out!

Today we have snuggled up around a pretend camp fire, that we worked together to build, and enjoyed hot chocolate and biscuits. We read one of our key texts, āWeāre going on a bear huntā, and then came back inside to re tell the story using props.

Nursery have worked hard to create their own hand print poppies, which we then stuck together to create a whole class wreath. We learnt about why we celebrate Remembrance Day and what the poppies stand for.
