Well done to our Pride of Plover winners this week. Jaxon has been talking lots and working really hard. He has been helping his friends too. Kiera-Ren has worked really hard especially in phonics and has been a really good friend.
You are both superstars. Well done.

She has done some amazing learning this week for our celebration of learning and fantastic nativity practise singing. Maria is also a very kind and caring member of our crew. Keep being you Maria – your a star!

Well done to Rayyan for her cheerleading medal, and Ralph for his football medal. It’s great to see you staying active outside of school.
We have been thinking today about how we show kindness to the world around us and the people in it. The children drew pictures of how they show they are kind and then we went outside to help Miss Trindall pick up the rubbish. She said the children were very kind to help her.

Today we have been geographers, learning about different places in the world where the bears live. The children chose their favourite bear and drew it. They then matched it to the countries that the bears are from. Some children made bear masks to match.

The celebration of learning is at the Intake Library tomorrow (2-3pm). Please ensure all children arrive in normal school uniform.
Children can go home straight from the library at 3pm if parents are there. All other children will be walked back to Plover.
Please bring cash if you would like to purchase the children’s art work.
For the past few weeks, the children have been building up their art skills to create a portrait of the World War Two Artist, Henry Moore. They have all worked really hard and are all super proud of their final product. Well done 3B!

As part of parliament week, crews around school engaged in learning about parliament and its processes in our country. This helps us to understand the British values of democracy and law.
Crew Schofield enjoyed engaging in their own parliamentary style debates on issues affecting our school, learning how they link to the manner in which bigger decisions are made for our country. They also enjoyed learning about the process of a general election and how that determines our representation in parliament.
In our photos, members of our ‘house’ were voting on a bill that proposed the banning of football at lunchtimes!
Well done to everyone that competed in the Y5/6 athletics tournament last week. You did our school proud, by showing resilience, determination and lovely manners.
