F2 Pride of Plover

Well done to Mason and George who have both being working exceptionally hard. George has been practicing his learning at home. Mason is enthusiastic with his learning and has learnt to write his name. We are very proud of both of them.

F2BP party time

We had lots of fun at our party.
We learnt to be courageous, doing forfeits in pass the parcel. Some children found these tricky and we talked about how we needed to be courageous.

Making sandwiches ready for the party

Tomorrow is our party. We are going to be learning about courage as we play different games. Today we made sandwiches using our fine motor skills. All the children were able to spread the margarine and jam really well. They are looking forward to eating them tomorrow.

Balancing a beanbag

In outdoor time today we practiced our motor skills and balancing skills by using beanbags. The children balanced the beanbag on their head, hand and then another part of their body. Balancing on shoes was tricky!

Crucial Crew

Year 6 had a great time at Crucial Crew today. They learnt some vital lessons and really engaged with each set they went to.

We Are Imaginative

Following our expedition input around our key text “CAKE”, the children played nicely alongside each other to make their own cupcakes and cookies. We used our motor skills to roll the play dough, using both our hands and rolling pins, and used cutters to create shapes.

Hook into our expedition

Yesterday we had a surprise box in our classroom, we looked at what items were inside and discovered that our expedition learning was going to be all about celebrations! We read the story CAKE, and were very excited to learn about parties.
