Today we have been looking at different woodland animals and their features. We have drawn our favourites, tomorrow we will critique them and see how we can make our pictures even more fantastic!

Today we learnt about animal habitats and discussed similarities and differences between our homes to theirs. We learnt where different animals live and had a go at making our own habitats.

Autumnal Pictures

Today we used the autumnal objects we collected in the woods yesterday, to create a large hedgehog picture. The children really enjoyed creating this collage and talking about the different shapes and textures of the natural materials found.

1/2 K – Role Play

On Friday 1/2 K were very busy learning all about the bus boycott that Rosa Parks organised. They acted out different scenes such as “Rosa refusing to move on the bus” and the very famous speech by Martin Luther King Jr.
