Well done to Conor and James who won our prizes this morning for the best homemade costumes, and to Astral and Maria who won this afternoon. Well done to everybody who worked to on their handmade costumes, they were all amazing!

We have started learning about our expedition today. We looked at the stories we will be learning about and read the book “There’s no dragon in this story.” The children remembered lots of the story characters we have learnt about already this year.

For our Mother’s Day cards we drew butterflies, to link to our expedition. We worked hard to ensure our butterfly was symmetrical and learnt how to use shapes to build up our picture. Mrs Williams was so proud of how beautiful they turned out and how hard we all worked.
We hope all the special mother figures in our lives, have a lovely day celebrating on Sunday!
