Favourite Sport Democracy

Yesterday, we discussed how important exercise and sports is for us to keep healthy. We chose 5 sports that children like to do and then each child could vote once for their favourite. We used a bit of maths to make a bar chart to show our results… and the winner was, SWIMMING! #LovePlover

Basketball Stars!

Some amazing team players from years 5 and 6 attended a basketball tournament for eight Doncaster primary schools.

We made it to the semi-finals through some careful passing and defence, building on the feedback from coach and team-mates on the bench. It was amazing to see how your game improved as you took onboard the suggestions from our team talks. Furthermore, you represented the school and our HoWLs marvellously and it was a pleasure to take you to the event. We are so proud of you!

From Monday 20th January 2025 for Spring Term, Plover Primary School will be opening up their facilities to the community for children from 5-13 years old, to take part in some FREE football sessions 4.45pm-5.45pm.

Parents can drop off and pick up children from Plover school’s main reception – via Coniston Road.
