Thank you

So proud of this lovely lot!

I was blown away last night at the talent of the pupils at Elevate academy. I am so proud of our Plover crew: Mia, Brooke, Scarlett, Atlas, Almina and Bailey. It was also so lovely to see some of our class of 2024 pupils, Lilly-Grace and Chloe, who absolutely smashed it and were so grown up and confident on the stage.

Well done you lovely lot!

Plover Dance Crew Celebrations

WOW, just WOW! Such a feeling of pride, honour and appreciation for our Plover Dance Crew tonight – they were incredible!

Every single child in our Plover Dance Crew in tonight’s Legacy Danceshow at Hall Cross, were a credit to themselves, their families and the Plover community!

Thank you parents for your cooperation and continued support. We hope you enjoyed the show!

A huge thank you to Legacy Sport Yorkshire for hosting such an inspirational and vibrant event – we can’t wait to see the professional footage captured of the whole night! #LovePlover

2L Balance Bikes

Children in 2L have been having great fun learning to ride balance bikes with Bikeability. The sessions have helped them build confidence, coordination, and control as they worked on gliding, steering, and stopping safely.

The children have loved the challenge, and it’s been wonderful to see their skills grow each week as they become more independent on two wheels.

The Bikeability instructor will be returning in February to work with the children in 2P.

Developing our Gross Motor Skills

Even in the cold conditions, there is no better way to keep warm than being physically active – ensuring children aged 0-5 get 180mins of intense physical activity a day. We have been using our gross motor skills to develop our locomotion, stability and object control skills. #LovePlover
