Thank you to all the families who came to join us today. We had lots of fun making sweets, creating window catchers, lanterns and firework pictures. We had lots of paper chains too and some children have made them ready for their Christmas trees.

Before family learning we learnt how to make our Coconut Barfi sweets which is a traditional Diwali sweet treat. #LovePlover
We spoke about kindness and integrity and had helpful heroes spot children being good and kind in provision. Those children received a kindness message from the spies. #LovePlover
I am so proud of our lovely Year 6’s who were fantastic role models for our EYFS pupils during our time to read crew. The children absolutely loved reading the younger children a story and we can not wait to continue reading to our new buddies every half term!

Today, in Expedition, we wrote special notes to ourselves! We reminded ourselves that having integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody else sees. So, with that, we reminded ourselves how important it is to proud of ourselves and say well done to ourselves. We all wrote a postcard to ourselves! Everyone had a smile on their face and felt a bit good about themselves. Let’s do more of this! X
In our snuggle and story crew today, we were joined by year 6. Our F2 children chose a book and a buddy, with which the Y6 children then read to the F2 children. It was a lovely crew session! #LovePlover
What a wonderful way to spend our reading crew. Year 6 came to read with us. The children loved being with Year 6. We are looking forward to sharing time with Year 6 again.

We used the soft play today in PE to develop our fundamental movements. We jumped, skipped, balanced, rolled. Then we lifted and build different patterns. Finished off with our colourful rangoli pattern! #LovePlover
Today, we donned our wings and explored Mr Meade and Mrs Bubb’s favourite story- Perfectly Norman. The children loved pretending to be Norman and flying in their wings. They listened to the story beautifully and talked and answered questions really well. We ❤️ Mondays when we get to be STORY EXPLORERS! Perfectly Charlie remembered that the main character had a dog. PERFECTLY EMMA said that he was sad. Perfectly Nevaeh talked a lot about what was happening all the way through the story and Perfectly Rivier knew he was going t take his coat off at the end and feel happy!
