Amongst all the craziness and celebrations last week. We had an awesome visit from two expert firefighters and their amazing fire truck! The children had a safety talk about bonfire night and fireworks. Then they found out why firefighters are so kind and help people in their jobs. Before exploring the fire truck’s cool equipment and spraying the giant hose! #LovePlover
We look forward to welcoming Boggledybook Children’s Book shop into school next Thursday. A great opportunity to buy great value children’s books at ÂŁ1, ÂŁ2 and ÂŁ3. Children can bring money into school and will visit the book shop throughout the day.

What a brilliant afternoon we had! We had some expert visitors.
Firefighters shine their light by saving people and keeping them safe. We learned about keeping safe on bonfire night. The most fun part was trying their kits on…or was it using the hose to knock the footballs off the cones? Or was being in the drivers seat of he truck? Or was it being in the back trying on the headphones and looking out of the windows pretending to be real FIREFIGHTERS? Oh, we can’t choose! Another awesome day at Plover school!
Today, in F2, we started our the half term lighting up our classroom with Diwali. We learned about the festival. We made some beautiful art. We made some delicious sweets. As we go along the week we will learn more about festivals and how we can shine our light to be kind. How do you shine?
Today your child was sent home with their unique Christmas card. If you would like to buy any of the products listed on the order form, please return it to your child’s class teacher no later than Friday 8th November 2024. Payment MUST also be made via parentpay by Friday 8th November 2024.
