A big well done to Charlotte and Abbie who were our Pride of Plover winners today. They have been superstars in their learning and we are so proud of them. They are working hard, being kind and getting smart.

It was b-b-b brilliant to see the children dressed up as the different phonics flash card sounds. We have had so much fun play and learning lots of different phonics games. #LovePlover
A big thank you to Larah-Jean for kindly donating a ‘Grow Scroll’, so we can check how tall our friends are and watch us grow! #LovePlover
Thank you to Alice for taking us on a pirate adventure this afternoon. She helped us learn about being healthy and active. We had lots of fun and enjoyed our dancing.

Today, we had an expert footballer come to visit. He told us about his job and taught us some skills. We wonder if anyone in our class will be a professional footballer when they are grown-ups? A few of us managed to score a goal so watch this space!
We used our head, hand and heart in PE today to help us – think about balancing sequences, balance with control and have the confidence to make shapes using their bodies. We linked it to our expedition and the children came up with movements linked to a baby, toddl
In expedition yesterday, we were scientists. We drew around Thea’s body. We talked about ways we look after different parts of our bodies, how we can stay healthy and who can help us keep healthy. The children shared some brilliant ideas. #LovePlover
In F2BP, we drew around Charlotte’s body. We talked about ways we look after different parts of our body. Mrs Bubb was so impressed with all the things we already do to keep our bodies healthy. Watch out for more learning in case study 1, where we will find out what happens to our bodies as we grow.
The children were able to name all the features on their faces.
What do we use our ears for? Where are our eyes? These were some of the questions children answered and discussed. They then chose in provision to create faces using different materials and medians. #LovePlover
Congratulations to Phoebe and Liarna for being this weeks pride of Plover.
Phoebe has settled into her new school superbly this week and has been spreading lots of happiness to all of the EYFS Crew.
Liarna has impressed us so much with her phonics, Fred talk and writing of letters. Keep up the positive learning! #LovePlover
