4H have been working really hard to improve the pace at which they can find words in a dictionary and writing their own definitions for subject specific vocabulary. It’s amazing how a little bit of healthy competition changes the dynamics of a task!
One day you will be able to find words quicker than I can. For some of you, that day might not actually be very far away! Well done everyone.
Year 4 are making some marvellous strides with their use of manipulatives to support the building of their knowledge of multiplications facts and their inverse division facts.

The crazy elf has arrived in 6B but he is no ordinary elf, he is a SPaG expert! He has started his visit by challenging 6B all about adverbials. They had to produce anchor charts and prove they could include of range of adverbials accurately in sentences before he would release the chocolates. 6B smashed it and are well on their way to becoming SPaG experts too! I wonder what he will get up to tomorrow?
We have been counting down, writing to Santa, decorating the tree, drawing Christmas elves and retelling the story of the first Christmas. We love Christmas time!

Yesterday, our children wrote their beautiful invitation for our kindness visitors at the Community Wellness Centre. Inviting them to our EYFS presentation of learning next week. Children then wrote their own invitations on provision. #LovePlover
