Well done to everyone who took part in the gymnastics event; you were all awesome!
You were so brave – the high beam and the bars looked so scary but you all did it. I am so proud of each and every one of you!

A massive shout out to Ada and Liarna who have continued their learning at home by planting seeds to grow their own plants! 10CC to both of you š
We had such a wonderful World Book Day in 2L. The children looked amazing dressed as their favourite characters and they enjoyed a visit from local author Phil Sheppard. The children all enjoyed choosing a brand new book and some of them literally couldn’t put them down! Don’t forget to use your book token to buy another book, I can’t wait to hear about which ones you choose. Happy reading!

The children continued to developed their discipline, fitness and learnt some techniques for self-defence! #LovePlover
We are so proud of these Y5 tag rugby players who for many took part in their first sporting competition. They came back off the coach buzzing about their experience and we were so proud of their efforts! Well done Ellis for his special recognition award. #LovePlover
Great attendance, work rate and enthusiasm on show at yesterdays football clubs. #LovePlover
The children looked brilliant in their world book day costumes and we enjoyed listening to lots of stories today! Thank you Catherine from the Literacy Hub who very kindly gave us all a brand new book and read wonderful classic story. We then got to pick a book from the book shop and was given a Ā£1 book voucher. #LovePlover
We had a wonderful day for World Book Day. Thank you to Catherine from the Literacy Trust for sharing the Gruffalo story with us and for the books that the children were able to take home. We played character guessing games, made pictures of our costumes for other people to guess and even went to the book store in school to choose our books.
Thank you also to our families for the wonderful costumes.

Happy world book day 2025! We have loved seeing all of your gorgeous costumes today and have had a great time sharing stories with the National Literacy Trust. Every child will be fetching home a copy of The Gruffalo, for them to keep, as part of our experience with the National Literacy Trust.
