Welcome our crew bear⦠Rainbow!
In expedition we learnt about the history of how teddy bears are made. We then discussed the instructions on how to make a bear. As a crew we worked together to build a bear. We described how our new bear felt and shared kindness messages for our crew bear. In crew, we showed democracy to vote for the name of our crew bear from the childrenās suggestions. Check the results below⦠we will look after you Rainbow! #LovePlover
What an awesome morning we had when our grown-ups came to learn with us. We made bear biscuits, bear collages, bear colouring, bear painting. At the end, we snuggled up on the carpet and enjoyed the story of āThe Everywhere Bearā. I hope the adults enjoyed it as much as the children did. Thanks to all for attending. Donāt worry if you couldnāt make it, we will be doing more family learning sessions throughout the year. Mrs Bubb #loveplover
TUESDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER is ‘come to school in your pyjamas and bring a teddy to School day’ for F1 and F2.
The children should arrive at school in their pyjamas and also bring their teddy bear (or favourite soft toy if they do not have one).
We will still be playing outside so they will need outdoor shoes and their coat as normal.
We are looking forward to a special, snuggly day making happy memories together!
Please come and ask your child’s teacher if you need any further information.
Best wishes,
Mrs Bubb, Mrs Price, Mr Meade, Mrs Williams and all the EYFS staff š
Only joking, weāre 98 days away. However, our crews are already preparing some extra special Christmas cards this year for our Plover families and community. Watch this space!
On Monday we explored the number 2. We noticed one and one more makes two. Children were able to subitise 2 quickly and make groups of 2. Yesterday and today we explored the number 3. Children noticed 1 and 1 and 1 makes 3, but also 2 and 1 makes 3. Children were speedy at subitising 3 and then they enjoyed going outside to make a collection of 3. #LovePlover
Yesterday in PE F2 developed their jumping combinations. They used their head – to think of different jumping combinations, their hands – to complete different jumps combinations in games, their heart – to help and listen to their friends ideas to make a jumping bear obstacle course. #LovePlover
What a wholesome morning we had in Crew Meade. Mr Meade āBEARlyā had to do anything, as the children and their grown ups did a wonderful job. We made bear biscuits, bear masks, coloured bears and fork bear painting. Ended with a nice cosy snuggle and story! Thank you parents and children once again, you were āGRRRReatā. #LovePlover
