Well done to everyone who has helped a friend out at some point this week. You are all so kind!
I hope your kindness is paid back at some point and that others follow your great examples of being Crew in the classroom!

Finding words in a dictionary can be a tricky skill to learn; but with weekly practice, we are getting there. Some children are even ready to take on ‘Haycock the Hustler’ and compete to be the quickest to find all of our Speedy Reading key words.

3H have been working really hard to build their understanding of different grades of pencil and the variety of effects that can be made by them. They’ve also improved their use of a range of shading teachings in preparation for the creation of their final products.
Well done everyone, keeping looking and working hard!

Unlucky to our Y3/4 footballers today at Owston. They finished a creditable 4th out of 8 schools. Running out of steam after being 1-0 up in the semi-final.

In 2L we have been very busy designing and making a contraption to keep Humpty Dumpty save and stopping him from cracking when he falls. We used our scientific knowledge of materials to choose suitable materials and worked collaboratively to bring our designs to life. We made sure our test was fair and it was very nail biting seeing if we were successful!
