I couldn’t be more proud of the children in 4G! They have worked so incredibly hard in preparation for their science fair, and today they really pulled it off.
All around the room, I could hear and see everyone sharing their learning with all the parents. There were experiments and demonstrations, and above all fantastic scientific knowledge.
Our parents and carers were great and were asking challenging questions of the children – which they handled so well.
The children showed such character and it was lovely to see children being pushed out of their comfort zone and talking to adults.
Above all, this came from the children – they shared their interest, what they have been inspired by and gave it 100%. The amount of incredible work completed at home was testament to how much they wanted to show what they knew.
The classroom was buzzing and so was I!
Well done 4G, you did an incredible job!
And now on to our next expedition!!

There is a buzz of excitement in 3H’s classroom today as the children are very busy working in their teams to prepare resources and presentations that they will perform to their parents this afternoon. I’ve let the reins go a little and the children have decided what they want to prepare and how they want to present their learning to their parents. They are doing themselves proud. I hope they have plenty of parents to talk to later on.
Good luck this afternoon Years 3 and 4. Be confident. Be knowledgable. Be awesome. Be you!

For our Mother’s Day cards we drew butterflies, to link to our expedition. We worked hard to ensure our butterfly was symmetrical and learnt how to use shapes to build up our picture. Mrs Williams was so proud of how beautiful they turned out and how hard we all worked.
We hope all the special mother figures in our lives, have a lovely day celebrating on Sunday!

This week we have been looking at the life cycle of a chick. We used our motor skills to cut out and order the pictures.

We really are getting excited for our Science Fair on Friday.
I have been so impressed with everyone has worked on their projects, working at home to prepare resources and collaborating so well in class, writing scripts and practising presentations.
I am really looking forward to tomorrow afternoon, to see how everyone brings their learning to life and hope our parents and carers will too.
