Rescheduled stargazing event

Please be advised that our rescheduled stargazing event will take place on:

Monday 18th November

4pm – 6pm

Please note the revised time which makes advantage of the darker evenings.

Children are welcome to bring a cushion and blanket and we advise they wrap up warm.
Children must be collected between 5:50pm and 6pm- they cannot walk home alone.

Year 5&6 stargazing reminder ⭐️

Our stargazing event will run between 5 and 7pm this evening. Thank you to all those of you who have signed up! Food will be served around 6pm. Children are welcome to bring a cushion and blanket and we advise they wrap up warm.
Children MUST be collected between 6:50pm and 7pm- they cannot walk home alone.

FREE Community Dance Lessons starting @ Plover

From Friday 8th November 2024 for 7 weeks, Plover Primary School will be opening up their facilities to the community for children from 5-13 years old, to take part in some FREE dance lessons 4.45pm-5.45pm.

Please complete the form below to register your interest and we will be in touch to confirm your place. Please note, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Parents can drop off and pick up children from Plover school’s main reception – via Coniston Road.

Y5/6 Boys Football Match Reminder – Tomorrow

Just a reminder these Y5/6 boys have a football match tomorrow at Plover after school 3.30pm-4.30pm: Szymon, Josiah, Ara, Tommy C, Morris, Ellis C, Roscoe B, Luke T, Rahand, Harry, Darcy T.

Please can children bring football boots, shin pads, water bottle and a waterproof coat. Mr Meade will provide the sports kid (also spare shin pads and boots if children need them).

Tommy Lee and Bahman – I haven’t received your letter slips back, please return tomorrow if you wish to play.

KS2 – Learn to Ride a Bike: Survey (Parents please complete)

We have Bikeability, Cycle North and Olympic Cyclist Ed Clancy visiting on Tuesday 15th October.

They are going to work with non-rider children in KS2 (Years 3,4,5,6)

Please complete the survey by the end of Tuesday 8th October, so we know which children can and can’t ride a bike.
