Well done to Sulieman who was super kind to his friends today, helping them to log into their reading eggs accounts during provision. Also a shoutout for Nevaeh who persevered when trying to ride a two wheeled bike today. Although Nevaeh found it tricky she did not give up, until she was able to ride it independently. Well done Nevaeh!

Foundation 1 soft play session.
Today, the children in Foundation 1, had an opportunity to take part in a soft play session in the hall.
We could run, climb, balance, crawl and go under the equipment.
It was good exercise and lots of fun.
We then used the equipment to build a tower, a rocket and a car.
Well done to Sienna for a wonderful first day at school. She tried hard in maths and phonics, she made lots of friends and was very polite.
Thank you to the other children for looking after Sienna and helping her today. I was very proud of you too.

Some of the children were exploring what they could make with blocks and bricks. They made sofas, chairs and then this amazing Goldilocks. They returned to their model trying different loose parts to improve it and then shared their creation. Well done to Paisley and Alec as well as the other children who joined for part of the time.

Shoutout to Nevaeh who worked really hard on her phonics in provision today. Nevaeh played the real/fake word game multiple times this morning to practice her reading and did not want to stop. Well done Nevaeh!

Our postcard went to Avaarni today. Not only did she work hard but she was very helpful to the other children and adults. Well done Avaarni.

In our role play area, we are pretending to be the pigs and the wolf, in order to re-tell the story.
We are builders.
We can build the straw, stick and brick houses.
