In our outdoor area, we organised our new bark chippings and sand. We work together as a team, sharing and thinking of the feelings of others.
We baked bear shaped biscuits for our ‘Book and a Biscuit’ session with our parents and carers. Thank you to all those who attended.
We have new toys to use in our role play. We have been dressing up as Goldilocks and now we are being builders in preparation for the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ Please read this story in the holidays if you can.
We had a wonderful family learning session. We made hedgehog cakes and biscuits, did some cutting and sticking and made stones into hedgehogs.
Thank you to all the families who supported us.
Well done F2P for having the highest attendance in Foundation Stage and KS1 for the second week running. Keep it up.
Just a reminder that Monday is our family learning session at 2pm. We will be making hedgehogs. There will not be Book and a biscuit.
We had a whole day learning and experiencing numbers. We made numbers using construction outside. We added and subtracted in the sand pit. We used Numicon to make pictures and we painted numbers.
We have been learning about trees and the animals that live in them having read After the storm by Nick Butterworth. Ayman created his own tree which he also labelled. We are very proud of Ayman’s learning today.

We have been working together to practice reading words containing phase 3 graphemes. Today we used pictures and words and the children had to read the words and see if the word matched the pictures. The children were very enthusiastic.
We are continuing to practice our phase 3 graphemes, recognising them, reading and writing them in words.
