Well done to Bobby. George, Mason and Riley for the excellent home learning which they have shared with us today!
Thank you for the observations today. It has been lovely to chat to many of you on the phone and hear the eagerness of the children to chat.
I enjoyed the PE lesson this morning and I know that some of our F1 and F2 children did too, especially Bobby and George. It was mentioned in quite a few observations.
Some children have been on Phonics Play. Can you beat your score next time?

This week’s focus for maths is learning about money.
Sing the Wheels on the bus.
Make some bus tickets and pretend to get on the bus. Write 5p, 10p, 7p etc on the tickets and use pennies to match. See the example.
Look at different coins and name them.
“This coin is ___. It is the same amount as ____ pennies.”
If your child knows the coins, play guess the coin describing what it looks like – size, colour, and how many pennies it is worth.
Children to share the Easter story – either in a book or online. Talk about the different people. They could make the story using drawing, lego etc
BBC teach have created a video of the Easter story.

Thank you Casey for sharing your home learning! Well done! Please send us any activities or fun your child is taking part in at home, Thank you.
Happy Monday children! We hope that you are all keeping safe and well. Please can you show your adults how you can sing some of the number songs which we practise at school? If your adult writes the numerals 1,2,3,4 and 5 on pieces of paper you can read them and match the correct number of objects to the numeral!
If your adult writes out the numbers 1,2,3,4 and 5 for you, can you copy over them or write them underneath? You can use whatever you have, chalk, pens or paint. Here are numbers written in salt!

Thank you to all our parents and carers for support over the last week.
For those parents who were unable to collect packs/waterproofs etc, Mrs Shuka will be delivering them on Monday.
Mrs Price and Mrs Shuka will be phoning F1 and F2 parents of children who are not in school, at least once a week, to check everyone is ok and to answer any questions. It would be great to chat the children too.
Mrs Ibbertson will Blog for F1 every morning by 9.00 and Mrs Price will Blog for F2. There will be activities to complete. We would like you to send the evidence of this learning on Evidence Me. We will provide information on the Blog but the activities will also be sent to you on Evidence Me, where you can create your own observations (photos, videos, notes) in response, or add parent notes to the original. We are looking forward to seeing their learning.
