EYFS Police Visitors
Thank you to our local police officers for your time, effort and engagement with our EYFS children. The children loved listening to your stories, learning about a police officers role and different vehicles, then exploring the riot van! Some future Chief Inspector’s of F2 showing respect and integrity. #LovePlover

Beautiful Family Learning – Craftsmanship and Quality

This afternoon was so wholesome! A huge thank you and appreciation to the F2M grown ups. You guys really are so supportive, collaborative and invested in your children’s learning. It was wonderful to see so many children and grown ups, working hard, having fun and creating beautiful work. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon – you all should be so proud! #LovePlover

Wheels, wings and other things -Model making with families
Thank you to all the families who joined family learning today. The children were very excited to make models of vehicles with their grown ups. We had trains, cars, buses, rockets, boats and planes. The children used different resources and equipment too. There may be some pictures tomorrow.

We Care Wednesday Crew
We have been learning about different emotions and how we can recognise our feelings and take care of ourselves. Today, we tried mindful colouring. Every single person managed to just concentrate on colouring and not need to talk. Mrs Bubb loved the vibe in the classroom!
Wheels, Wings and other things!
In expedition we learned about different vehicles. We shared our experiences of these vehicles. Then we drew and painted vehicles using shapes. We continued our learning outside by investigating and exploring different vehicles and how they move. #LovePlover

African Clothes and Music
In RE choosing time we explored different African clothing. We noticed they have lots of bright pretty patterns and are very thin. We danced to African beats. #LovePlover

Rocking and Rolling
We’re on the move: in gymnastics we focussed on our fundamental movements, rocking forwards and backwards, side to side and rolling movements. We practised an egg roll and pencil roll. #LovePlover

Designing our product
We used lots of different ideas to create our product pictures. There were some trails, some snakes and ladders, duck duck goose and some counting games.

Craftsmanship and Quality
In provision, these children chose to work hard and develop their fine motor skills to make some African inspired pasta necklaces. I praised that they showed the character trait of real craftsmanship and quality to create their necklaces. #LovePlover
Designing our Playground Markings
The children showed craftsmanship and quality to design their own bespoke playground markings. We thought hard about how they would be fun, colourful and get us all moving! #LovePlover
