Building Boats

This week we have been constructors and we have made boats. Some fantastic creations were produced. Then we tested them to see if they would float! It was wonderful to welcome Mr Sprakes into our learning and he was so impressed by the craftsmanship and quality of our boats. #LovePlover

The children showed their craftsmanship and quality skills today as they made their boats to match their designs. They were very excited to see if their boats floated. Most of them did and for those whose boats didn’t float, they gave ideas as to why.

Yesterday we did an investigation to see which materials float and which sink. This was part of our planning process to figure out which materials are waterproof and float, so we can use them to make our boats. #LovePlover

In crew we worked together as a team to complete a fun challenge. Using our shoes we had to build the tallest shoe tower. The children showed great respect and teamwork to complete this challenge! #LovePlover
